2015 Makeup Launches We're Stoked About

There’s no hiding it: 2014 was one of beauty’s best years yet, thanks to a slew of incredible new collections (MAC Rocky Horror, anyone?), revolutionary formulas (NARS Audacious!), and seriously groundbreaking technologies (Olaplex has absolutely SAVED my bleached tresses).

But in the spirit of looking forward, I’m already getting psyched about a number of stellar products being launched in the New Year. I really think these babies will up all of our beauty games, whether you’re looking to keep makeup better locked in place or try out a totally new, bold look. Get ready to put these on your radar:

NARS Illuminating Multiple in St. Lucia (available now at Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com; available March 15 at NARS boutiques and narscosmetics.com)

NARS Multiples have definitely reached cult status, especially Cococabana, a gorgeous highlighter to swipe anywhere you need a little glow. I’m more than a little pumped to try out this slightly warmer hue.

Milani Fierce Foils Eyeshines and Eyeliners (eyeshines available now at some CVS locations; eyeliners set to launch in January)

There’s nothing I love more than a great product at an even better price, and Milani’s a brand that kills it. These shadows and liners are super creamy and pigmented, giving any look a bold touch. Plus, they’re comparable to Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eyeshadows, which are TO DIE FOR.

Dior Vernis Blossoming Top Coat (available in January at Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com)

Ooooh, boy. Dior nail polish is one of those products that I know I’ll never be able to give up. It’s an expensive vice, but it’s worth it for its flawless application and gorgeous range of colors. Now, finally, the brand is giving a confetti-esque top coat a go – try it on bare nails or over another shade.

Eight New Shades of Too Faced Melted Liquified Long-Wear Lipstick (four available now and four available January 9 at TooFaced.com)

Miranda and I have been singing the praises of this spectacular liquid lipstick for a hot minute, but I was a little bummed about the limited shade range. No longer! Now, we can choose from some deep berries, deep purples, and subtle nudes.

Maybelline Master Prime Blur + Illuminate Primer with SPF 30 (available now at some drugstores; available everywhere in January)

Perhaps the best discovery I made in 2014? Primer with sunscreen, so I can combine two steps in one. Up until now, though, drugstore options have been limited. Though the whole Master Prime collection is expected to be excellent, I’ll be purchasing Blur + Illuminate – the only one that features SPF 30 – to prep my skin for foundation AND liven up my skin AND protect from the sun. One hell of a multitasker, no?

LORAC Unzipped Cheek Palette (available at Ulta this spring – no set date yet!)

Experimenting with a different shade of blush can really change up your look, but who wants to drop a ton of cash on a single shade? This LORAC palette makes it super simple to experiment with a bold pink or a nearly orange on your cheeks. I’m also thinking Unapologetic could be a gorgeous bronzer.

And, fingers crossed for… Urban Decay Vice LTD. Palette

Full disclosure: I was beyond pissed when I found out UD released a Vice palette so limited edition that only about 1,000 palettes were sold. They were gone overnight! As a Vice collector, I’m praying for another release, if only for a day – this time, I’ll be prepared.

Are you as jacked as I am for these releases? Which one will you pick up first?
