So Tuesday of last week I decided to make a last minute trip to NYC to visit my lovely pals Amy (read her blog) and Kate (who you already know). They’re both finishing up amazing internships in Manhattan, Kate at Marie Claire magazine and Amy at Likeable Media.

Shenanigans commenced as we found ourselves wandering around the city in a usually ice cream induced state and I thought I’d report back as much as I could to you lovely people.  I took the Amtrak train from Atlanta to NYC and it took about 17 hours. It was a crazy long ride but it was really cool. I met and saw so many interesting people and I highly recommend train rides for those looking to embrace their adventurous sides. Here are some photos I took through the train window:

What’s a vacation without a few silly sleepover photos? I had such an incredible time in the city (see my first post about it here) and I will always love it there. Kate and I thought up a few brilliant ideas for the blog while we were together, and we’re excited to share them with you very soon! Until then, we love you and god bless New York City!
