CRUMBS #3

Hello everyone!

3am on a Monday night. Unsurprisingly I have found myself here at the computer (I’m trying to make it sound like I’m not in bed, is it working?). If you’re not quite sure what’s going on here, check out Crumbs #1 and Crumbs #2. Basically I’m here to round up random snippets and things from the last week or so that have been interesting to me.

The first things I’ll talk about are a few movies I’ve seen recently that I’ve been loving a lot. I had the chance to see The Amazing Spiderman 2 and I thought it was awesome. Spidey is my favorite superhero so I was not surprised that I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I especially love watching Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone together so it’s basically meant to be, right? If you would like a full on movie review for the film let me know, but I definitely loved it.

The next film I’ve watched twice in the past few weeks is Stuck In Love. Written and directed by Josh Boone (the director of The Fault In Our Stars), the film follows a family of people with love and relationship issues. As boring as it sounds, it’s a really good movie.

It’s one of those romantic comedies that doesn’t make me want to vomit. The stories are raw and real, and I really loved the characters. The movie stars Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Connelly, Lily Collins, Nat Wolff, and Logan Lerman. It’s on Netflix now so if you’re looking for something new to check out I highly recommend it. If you’d like a movie review for that one, I’d love to do one as well.

As far as music goes, I’ve been reliving my love for The Wonder Years, and if you don’t know who they are I suggest this:

I’ve also been loving Bon Iver and Sam Smith, as well as local bands Concord America, Dresdenand Wieuca. Concord America actually just released their album “Suns out Guns Out” which I’ve been blasting all week on Spotify. If you think we’d be musical comrades, you can follow me on Spotify by searching my name or clicking the link in the sidebar next to this post! I am always updating playlists and listening to new music so check me out over there for real time updates.

I have a few people favorites this month as well. I’ve been watching more and more YouTube and I’m slowly falling in love with Claire of heyclaire. She makes mainly beauty videos, but the first video I saw of hers was The Pop Punk Challenge, and I definitely think it’s worth a watch. She’s awesome and has cool tattoos. Another people favorite is Connor Franta of the YouTube collab channel O2L or Our Second Life. He’s a funny guy and very easy to watch, so I’m recommending you his channel as well! Oh and if you aren’t watching Troye Sivan‘s videos where have you been. Here’s one that cracks me up:

Last thing I want to mention is a current obsession of mine: Tumblr. I’ve had my Tumblr for years now but I don’t actually ever use it. I’ve lately been on there during my late night procrastination sessions (i.e. right now) and I’m loving it. If you’re a Tumblr user, follow me using the link in the sidebar or check out my blog here! It’s a very interesting place and I love how funny everyone is. If you haven’t yet found the social media outlet for you, I’d definitely try out Tumblr. It’s definitely my kind of people.

Let me know if you guys like this kind of post
