I am the worst blogger ever. Allow me to apologize for my unforgivable absence; let me explain.
You see, I’ve done a sort of temporary relocation to one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in the world: London, England. I’ve always wanted to travel to the United Kingdom and for some magical reason the odds have worked in my favor and here I am. Anyway, more on that to come. If you want to see all of the glamour, you can follow me on Instagram for all-too-often photographic updates of my time here.
Being in such a beautiful place has made me feel super inspired and reenergized. I love how this city moves and feels, so I’ve created a “mood board” full of things that sort of translate back to the amazing vibes (I hate that word) here. To be honest I’m not sure why I’m doing this but it just feels right ya’ll. Enjoy. If you’re confused, check out Crumbs #1, #2, and #3.
1. Beyonce’s “XO” Music Video.
I mean I really don’t need to explain this because it speaks for itself but this video just looks like everything I want to be in life. Fun times, amazing necklaces, light up Minnie Mouse ears, etc.
2. Twin Peaks
This is one of those things that always gives me good inspo. It’s just so visually delicious. I would highly recommend this show to any fans of AHS or Bates Motel. It’s spoopy.
3. The Theory of Everything
This one goes without saying I think; beautiful story, beautiful cinematography. The Director of Photography was Benoit Delhomme, an incredible French cinematographer whose work is always beyond gorgeous. He also did The Boy In The Striped Pajamas and One Day.
4. The Arctic Monkeys
Being in London and all, I couldn’t forget the original English baes. The Arctic Monkeys have been a fave of mine since high school and they are like wine and they ripen with age and they are great in every way. They also give me badass cool-chick motivation on days when I ain’t feelin’ so hot.
What has been inspiring you lately?
P.S. I’m also so into finding new music it’s unreal. If you want to keep up with what music I’m following, check out my Spotify playlist “now.”
