I wasn’t really sure what I was getting myself into when I watched this one. Have you ever seen a movie that just gets progressively weirder until the very end when you’re like what even. That is how this one went.

I actually really enjoyed it despite my semi-confusion throughout. I guess it could have something to do with my ability to watch Ryan Gosling do anything. This movie has an interesting cast. Ryan Gosling, Kirsten Dunst, Frank Langella, and Lily Rabe (of American Horror Story) take the stage along with a guest appearance by Kristen Wiig (in a serious role??). Anyway, the film follows Gosling throughout his life in a series of events involving his family and friends. I don’t want to tell you much more because I really enjoyed it having no knowledge of the plot going in. If you’re in the mood for something creepy, this is the film for you. Plus, it’s on Netflix instant watch, cue jumping for joy.
