April marks the start of my three month long summer haze. Once we hit April, it’s shorts and tank tops until the end of time. I’ve been listening to Tyler, The Creator’s album WOLF that just came out a day or two ago, and it’s put me in that Cali summer mood. All I want is to be able to throw on some denim shorts and a tank top or a t shirt and skate around the hills in the west coast breezy summer sun. I’ve always had a secret desire to be a skater/surfer girl but I actually have no coordination whatsoever so I just dream.
I’ve also been loving literally all of Jac Vanek‘s stuff lately.
One last thing I’ve been loving that I already mentioned is Tyler, The Creator’s newest album, WOLF. Check it out for a nice summery vibe. Other albums I recommend for summery moods: Aesop Rock’s Skelethon, Arctic Monkeys’ Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not, Reptar’s Body Faucet, M.I.A.’s Kala, and The Black Keys’ El Camino.
Here’s some visual stimulation to let drip down into your soul. Anyone want to road trip with me to California this summer?
Are you lusting for summer?
