Alright so summer is almost over which is one of the most depressing things ever, but because of this, I’ve decided to reminisce about some of the things I’ve been loving this summer!

1. My new camera!!!

Gosh, I can’t even put into words how much I love this thing. I got a Canon Rebel T3, which is nothing special, but to me it’s my holy grail. Here are a few photos I took in Athens while I was at orientation over the past few days.

2. Pretty Little Liars

Okay before you judge me, I have to defend myself. This show is actually so great. It’s not like Gossip Girl or 90210 or whatever crappy show you were mentally comparing it to before now. It’s actually kind of scary, almost on the American Horror Story level of creepy. Yeah, this show is awesome, and I’m only on season two. Thank you Netflix.

Yeah this show is where it’s at. I’m so hooked.

3. Macklemore x Ryan Lewis music videos.

Praised hip-hop artist Macklemore has got, hands down, some of the best music videos I’ve seen. Sidenote: I’ve got a weakness for a blue/green filter (thanks Twilight), but these music videos really are great. Ben Haggerty, better known as Macklemore really does create some beautiful art through his lyrics. Most of his rap comes from his own experiences with drug and alcohol abuse and his incredibly impressive recovery. I’m a fan.

Check out these videos: Otherside, Wings, and The Town

4.  Workaholics

This is the best comedy TV show that I have ever seen, except for my beloved dramedy, Weeds. Best friends Adam, Anders, Blake, and Kyle scored this TV show after making Youtube videos on the channel MailOrderComedy for a few years. This show chronicles the “almost but probably true” lives of Adam, Anders, and Blake as they struggle to balance drugs, alcohol, partying, misadventures, working, scoring chicks, their hot but scary boss, their dealer and friend Kyle, and any other random thing you could imagine. This show is just plain hilarious. It’s sort of filmed mockumentary style; it all feels very unprofessional as though you’re just tagging along with them everywhere they go. Either way, please watch this show. Guys just plain love the main characters and girls hate them but slowly realize that they are in love with them. It’s great. I can’t even describe it without sounding dumb that’s how good it is.

5.  Skelethon by Aesop Rock

This album is super sick and I’ve had it on repeat ever since it’s come out. So great.

Preview here or just buy it!

Yep so those are the really random things I’ve been obsessed with lately. Hopefully you discovered something cool!
