WHAT I'M READING

I haven’t written about books in a while. I really do love reading. I talk to people about books all of the time, and I don’t dedicate enough of my time on this blog to what I read, so here goes.

I recently took a trip to Barnes and Noble in honor of my graduation gift card that I got ages ago and I snagged a few things. Here’s what I got!

1. The Book of Secrets by Deepak Chopra (recommended to me by Gaby.)

2. Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk (recommended to me by Taylor and Joel.)

3. No one belongs here more than you. by Miranda July (recommended to me by myself, since I’ve heard she’s a great writer.)

4. Life On Mars by Tracy K. Smith (because I was wandering around the poetry section and it looked good.)

Also, I’ve been forcing everyone to read or re-read The Perks of Being a Wallflower before the movie comes out! Do it.

So yeah! Have you read any good books lately? I want to know!

In the middle of an existential crisis. If you have one of those super long phone chargers can you send it to me?

  • Miranda July is the best. She’s so frank. I read that short story collection last year and couldn’t stop. At first you think “well this is sort of romantic and cute” and then you think about the stories in a much larger context and it’s just so rich. Fantastic choices!
